On 13th December 2016, Dr Luigina Ciolfi and Dr Eleanor Lockley of The Cultural Communication and Computing Research Institute at Sheffield Hallam University hosted a design workshop as a follow-up from a series of research and networking interviews. These activities explored various strategies of technology appropriation that individuals implement to handle work and life demands. The design workshop featured a keynote presentation by Professor Susanne Bødker (Aarhus University, Denmark). At the workshop, participants helped create technology concepts to support work and home lives. Following the event, an interest group on work-life technology design was established.
